What drove your ancestors to do what they did, when they did? Let me help you paint that picture by understanding the events that shaped your ancestors' lives.

  • Choose the event or change in your ancestor’s life that you’d like to understand more fully.

  • Describe that event to me, including the time frame or year(s) in which it occurred.

  • Tell me a little bit about what your ancestor’s life was like before and after whatever that “mysterious” event was, like where he or she lived, etc.

  • I will examine the change in your ancestor’s life in the historical context of the world in which he or she was living and provide insight into the most likely motivations for the change.

  • You will receive a brief report on the subject, delivered via email.

  • I may need to ask you additional questions about your ancestor’s life while examining the context of that life. If so, then we may need to exchange a few emails while I work on your project.
